This March 1st-14th, 2010,  New York City will Light The Town Blue to increase awareness and screening for colon cancer.  Wherever you live,  you can participate too!

Colorectal cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death in the US—but it doesn’t have to be. With screening and early detection, colon cancer can be cured and often even prevented.

So please,  light up your window blue for colon cancer awareness this March—and if you are 50 or older, call your doctor today to schedule an appointment for colon cancer screening.

It’s your call.  And It could save your life.
